 2021 TEEN SUMMIT ESSAY COMPETITION

The National Development Council has partnered with Brownpreneurs to provide scholarships for college students and juniors and seniors (Class of 2022 & 2023) who are enrolled in this year’s teen summit. Students must write an essay outlining why they want to become an entrepreneur and how Brownpreneurs can help.

ESSAY REQUIREMENTS:

The essay should be 1–2 pages in length, written in 12-point Times Roman, Calibri or Arial font, and be a double-spaced essay. Essays should be submitted in Word or PDF format.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be currently enrolled in college or a junior or senior in high school (Class of 2022 & 2023)

· Attend all three (3) days of the 2021 Teen Summit

PRIZE:

· One (1) Winner - $1,000 scholarship

· Two (2) Runner-Ups - $500 scholarship

DEADLINE: 

Essays must be emailed to info@brownpreneurs.org before 7:59 PM on Friday, July 9, 2021. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

WINNERS: 

The top three (3) writers will receive a college scholarship. Winners will be announced on Saturday, July 10th during the Teen Summit at the Awards Banquet.
