OUR METHOD

The Brownpreneurs training model is not a boring workshop! It is an innovative learning experience designed to teach young aspiring entrepreneurs how to bridge the gap between education and application.  We aim to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to start, grow and maintain a successful business.

ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING WORKSHOPS

9 am - 4 pm

Brownpreneurs offers two distinct programs; Brownpreneurs Teen Summit (for high school students) and Brownpreneurs College Conclave (for college students).  Each lineup consists of an extensive curriculum outlining the fundamentals of entrepreneurship presented in a practical, real-world manner.  Both units cover topics pertaining to accounting, marketing, operations and sales.  All sessions are taught by an experienced professional with proven success in that area.  These programs are designed to arm students with the business acumen and economic tools to become a successful entrepreneur. 

 

This program is available at no cost to the student or their family.

For high school and college students only.  Program will include training on how to write a business plan and how to effectively pitch your idea to investors.

SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

11 am - 2 pm

Brownpreneurs hosts an annual business plan scholarship competition. High school and college students in the St. Louis metropolitan area compete for a chance to win a scholarship to college. Students must create a business plan and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.  The top three (3) candidates will receive a scholarship to college.  The purpose of this event is to teach aspiring brownpreneurs how to write a strong business plan and how to effectively pitch their ideas to potential investors. 

 

This program is available at no cost to the student or their family.
